And the most recent addition, this killer mustang, might be the nicest one yet. It's easy to see why with sinister charcoal highlighting a supercharged 302/5-speed drivetrain, a thoroughly modernized chassis and supple red leather. And, in fact, the amount of detail that went in to this ford's construction is simply remarkable, as there's virtually no piece that hasn't been smoothed, polished, massaged or upgraded in some way. Bodywork/trim the beneficiary of a professional restoration that was completed by the staff of timeless kustoms of camarillo, california, this slick pony features a seamless layer of charcoal base that's highlighted by a satin hood stripe and sealed in glossy clear. Take one look down the sides of the car's laser-straight body and it becomes very obvious that great care was taken to ensure every panel is aligned to better-than-factory standards. Step closer to that body's mirror-like pigment and check out its straight and ripple-free surfaces, which are a product of both clean oem sheetmetal and high quality replacement panels. Grab the pivotal pieces of that well-adjusted sheetmetal and experience the kind of excellent fit that's right at home reflecting a summertime car show. Back in the day, ford designers made sure every year of the first generation mustang had plenty of visual sizzle. And in the 21st century, it doesn't get much better than this drop-top's masterful combination of aggressive accents and well-placed trim. At the front of the car, a monochromatic mesh grille centers hella driving lamps between modern headlights, a shelby-style valance and an aggressive chin spoiler. Behind that grille, a shaved hood anchors a small scoop in front of polished windshield wipers, tinted greenhouse glass and color-keyed, stainless frames. At the sides of that glass, small hot rod mirrors reflect a fully shaved profile. At the top of the jet black mill, monochromatic pipes shuttle wind from a remote, fender-mount air cleaner to a ceramic-coated throttle body and sleek trick flow intake. That wind joins fossils thanks to electronic injection, which makes good uses of an aeromotive regulator, an auto gage pressure gauge and color-keyed fuel rails. When that air/fuel mixture floods the cylinders, a proven motorcraft distributor sequences fire through sleeved prestolite plug wires. As that fire turns into compression, resultant gases are jettisoned through ceramic-coated, long-tube headers. That compression's cooling is provided by a big radiator, which stores water in front of two perma-cool puller fans. There's a modern serpentine system that spins a painted alternator opposite a painted ac compressor. And overall, the car's glossy engine compartment is exceptionally well done, featuring first rate ancillaries like a polished k&n breather, clean trick flow valve covers, sturdy shock tower bracing and a body-matched support shroud. Drivetrain/suspension at the bottom of this mustang, a freshened undercarriage houses solid, undercoated floors that are bolted to a roster of top-notch components. Behind the snarling 302, a pro-5. 0 shifter engages a modern 5-speed transmission, which twists a powder-coated ford axle. That drivetrain rolls on a total control products 4-bar that's fitted with a 5/8-inch sway bar and adjustable varishock coil-overs. Opposite that 4-bar, a total control products front-half employs a 1-inch sway bar and two more varishock coil-overs. That hardware is augmented with flaming river power rack-and-pinion steering. The aforementioned headers dump spent gases in to 3-inch, ceramic-coated pipes that employ an h-shaped crossover in front of throaty pypes street pro mufflers. And everything, from the car's deep-sump oil pan to its welded subframe connectors and quality aeromotive fuel system, appears clean, sorted and ready to pound the pavement. The heavily bolstered seats, a familiar bench and mid-century, caf-style buckets, are framed by a custom low-profile roll cage and 4-point sparco harnesses. In front of those perches, an attractive, 2-tone dash hangs racy auto meter telemetry to the left of a pioneer cd player and vintage air climate control. At the sides of that dash, custom door panels mimic the style of original factory fodder. In front of the driver, a simple sparco steering wheel spins a thick, suede rim around a tilting column. And behind the accumat-wrapped cockpit, the car's fully finished trunk stores a big memphis audio subwoofer and dual memphis audio amps. It combines professional grade performance hardware with one of the coolest bodies in the hobby to create a take-no-prisoners pony car. Climate Control✔ CD Player✔ Air Conditioning

One of detroit's most adored creations, late '50s chevys continue to be restoration magnets for builders and collectors alike. Well, with a classic like this handsome 210, standing out is guaranteed to be a nonissue. Benefitting from a comprehensive restoration, this sedan's time-tested looks are backed by an impressive list of hardware that includes 502 cubic inches of chevrolet big block, a tough tremec 5-speed and an art morrison chassis that rolls on sweet budnik wheels. Virtually timeless and universally loved, tri-fives are always crowd favorites. And with twice the swagger of its restored-to-stock brethren, this custom bowtie is one of the most enjoyable classics on the planet! Bodywork/trim a solid foundation for building a lights-out resto-mod, this slick chevy's smooth, all-american body is covered in silky silver and pearl orange 2-stage. That glossy pigment creates a classic hot rod profile that's been buffed, sanded and polished to near perfection. Panel gaps appear to be at better-than-factory tolerances, creating straight surfaces that are much cleaner than when they originally rolled out of the showroom. But for many folks, the division's '55 model essentially perfected the art. At the front, a 1-piece bumper frames a polished grille, clear parking lamps and modern halogen headlights. At the top of that grille, a domed hood centers a color-keyed crest and polished jetbird opposite smoked glass that's caged in polished frames and mirrored wipers. At the base of that glass, classy fender scripts complement traditional door handles and flashy speed spears. And at the back of the car, a second 1-piece bumper frames correct taillights, monochromatic corner emblems and a second color-keyed crest. At the top of the chevy orange mill, a body-matched demon air cleaner funnels air in to coated demon carburetors that feed a coated triple induction intake. At the edges of that intake, aluminum chevrolet heads prop polished bowtie breathers on pearl orange, chevrolet-branded valve covers. At the back of those covers, an msd blaster ss coil jolts and msd pro-billet distributor, which fires loomed msd super conductor plug wires. Beneath those wires, coated, long-tube headers snake around a trick dipstick. In front of that stick, a modern serpentine drive spins polished pulleys in front of a polished alternator, a polished ac compressor and a polished water pump. And aesthetically, this chevy's massaged, pearl orange engine bay is attractive and well-thought, from its polished master cylinder and coated hood supports all the way to its braided fluid lines and fabricated oil pan. That gloss black frame creates a nice contrast to solid, satin black floors. Behind the big engine, a proven tremec 5-speed centers a color-keyed scattershield in front of an aftermarket third member. That power team pushes a modern 4-bar rear-half that's finished with a beefy sway bar, polished control arms and strange coil-over-shocks. Opposite that 4-bar, an independent front-clip sandwiches two more strange coil-overs between more polished control arms. Stops are provided by polished calipers and a quartet of drilled and slotted rotors. Exhaust gasses float through large-diameter pipes, which thread polished borla proxs mufflers on the way to polished stainless tips. Power meets the pavement through stylish budnik wheels, which spin 245/45zr18 nitto nt555 extreme zrs in front of 275/40r20 nitto nt555r extreme drags. And details like a quick mini starter, a custom fuel tank, goodridge brake lines and aeromotive fuel components fill out a roster of top notch equipment. Front and center, a quartet of plush buckets provides placement for bottoms. In front of those mitts, a customized dash hangs crisp auto meter telemetry next to vintage air climate control. At the bottom of that island, quality carpet floats color-keyed mats between custom side panels and billet foot pedals. And in front of the driver, a polished steering wheel spins a half-wrapped rim around a polished, tilting column. Summary the beneficiary of a detailed, body-off restoration 502 cubic inch chevrolet v8 / demon tri-power induction tremec 5-speed manual transmission vintage air conditioning art morrison chassis / 18 and 20-inch budnik wheels custom leather interior / modern audio power rack-and-pinion steering 4-wheel disc brakes silver and pearl orange paint aftermarket rear axle. 1966 Chevrolet Nova

  • manual
In 1966 the compact nova received a hard-edged facelift that mirrored chevy's successful chevelle and impala. That being said, sharp sheetmetal paled in comparison to the car's most significant upgrade: the legendary l79 option. As intentionally nondescript as the super sport trim it accompanied, l79 netted the car's lucky new owner a 327 cubic inch, 350 horsepower small block that was cribbed directly from the corvette. That mill was certainly a hit, as a little over 5,400 of the red-hot bowties were ordered. But, unfortunately, most were purchased strictly for the quarter mile, which means, thanks to the law of attrition, finding an authentic l79 nova is becoming increasingly difficult. And that's why we're proud to feature this fully documented, macneish-certified l79 nova. Wrapping a numbers-matching drivetrain in correct turquoise on turquoise aesthetics, this retro wonder transforms the phrase "investment grade compact" from oxymoron into fact! Bodywork/trim the beneficiary of a detailed rotisserie restoration that was completed in late 2015, this nova is a sharp weekend cruiser that currently presents much better than original factory fodder. During the car's precise reboot, solid sheetmetal was completely striped of its dull, original pigment. With that shell removed, and its foundation massaged into great alignment, correct tropic turquoise base was sealed in mirror-like clear. The subdued and classy lines of the prototypical nova are early '60s conservative. And because they're so universal in appeal, they've continued to gain significant popularity. At the front of this hardtop, a straight grille hangs a classy "chevy ii ss" badge between a guarded bumper, clear parking lamps and stainless-trimmed t3 headlights. Above that grille, a finned hood anchors a simple chevrolet crest in front of clean glass, polished wipers and polished stainless frames. At the sides of that hood, a modernist profile centers small fender emblems, ornate quarter scripts and traditional door handles between straight wheel trim, a polished driver's mirror and correct super sport rocker guards. And at the back of the car, correct super sport trunk trim hangs red-detailed badging between a correct antenna, vertical tail lamps and a second guarded bumper. Motivating this real-deal super sport is a 1966-exclusive l79 v8 that, according to the factory, twists stout 11 to 1 compression into 350 corvette-matching horsepower. Savvy collectors will quickly locate the original 327's correct 3791362 casting number, correct "zi" suffix stamp and matching 165788 partial vin. Casual observers will be quick to notice the mill's l79-exclusive polished, twin-snorkel air cleaner. And everyone will start to vibe when air and fuel flow from a big holley carburetor in to a hot winters intake that's framed by high-flow cylinder heads! That air/fuel mixture meets spark thanks to packard tv r suppression cables, which crawl around polished valve covers on their way to a correct points distributor. Spent gases fall through old school cast iron exhaust manifolds. There's a big harrison radiator that joins an ac fuel pump, a correct alternator and a reproduction delco battery to round out the car's first-rate ancillaries. And, when it comes to keeping up appearances, the entire engine compartment, from its polished fuel line and polished oil filler to its chevy orange block and satin black fenders, is clean, attractive and ready to roll! Drivetrain/suspension one look under this sturdy compact reveals a solid chassis that's just as road-ready as the car's stout 327. Power flows through an original muncie m20 4-speed, which hangs a muncie (p) assembled on may (05) 9th (09) 1966 build stamp behind a correct 3885010 casting number. That transmission twists an original "bs" branded 12-bolt that's finished with correct 3. 31 gears and a correct posi-traction differential. Holding that virtually unbreakable drivetrain off the ground is a restored double a-arm front and leaf spring rear suspension. Exhaust flows from the aforementioned manifolds to modern, aluminized pipes, which precede correct resonators and factory replacement mufflers. The body's fully restored floors wear a smooth layer of satin black paint. And all that old school americana rolls on painted steelies, which spin 6. 95-14 bf goodrich silvertown 660 whitewalls around polished super sport hub caps. Interior regardless of what motor made its way in to the subframe, the nova always stayed true to its simplistic roots. No place was that more evident than in the car's cockpit. Front and center, nicely restored thrones provide seating. A showroom-quality dash balances rebuilt gauges next to a knee-knocker tach and correct delco pushbutton radio. Beneath that dash, a corvette-style shifter rides a chrome-trimmed console, which floats on like-new carpet that's protected by color-keyed floor mats. At the sides of that carpet, classy door panels are, like the car's headliner and package tray, virtually devoid of weathering. In front of the driver, satin, speed-drilled spokes spin faux wood rims around an ornate chevrolet horn button. And behind the passengers, a matted trunk hides a correct jack and full-size spare tire beneath a decaled decklid. Historical information a quick look at this nova's vin, cowl tag and protect-o-plate authenticates it status as a correct, real-deal l79 super sport. Bucket Seats✔ Air Conditioning
